The Coach House

Master Bedroom

King-size bed. This en-suite double room sleeps 2. Wooden-beamed ceilings and internal stone walls ooze character!

Family Bedroom

The spacious bedroom has a King-size bed with bunks, and sleeps 4. Very popular with parents sharing with kids.

Bedroom 3

This cosy bedroom has a double bed, and sleeps 2. It is the smallest bedroom in the Coach House, ideal for couples.

Group Bedroom

With a King-size bed & bunks (double on bottom and single above), this room sleeps up to 5, and is often chosen as the ‘kids room’!

Common Room / Dining Hall

This is the Sitting Room where everyone congregates. Large and open-plan, it has plenty of sofas and seating for everyone gathering together, and has hosted up to 70 eating

Sun Lounge

Beside the open plan living area is the sun lounge. It opens up through two stone arches with direct access to the rear lawn on which many guests have erected marquees for numbers larger than 70.

The kitchen has usual kitchen appliances, gas hob and electric oven/grill. Coffee maker, pots, pans, wares and cutlery for hosting a large group. Double doors lead out to the rear garden patio area. Large windows also look over towards the Castle.

Lounge / Bedroom 5

The sofa converts to a comfortable double sofa-bed, and as this ground floor living-room has its own en-suite, it is an ideal ground-floor bedroom for anybody with difficulties climbing stairs.

Sitting Room

This large open-plan common-room is at the very heart of the Coach House, and is where everyone gathers to relax in the evening and to plan the next day’s adventures!

The main bathroom is located on the first floor (above ground level), at the centre of all the bedrooms upstairs. With a sink and WC, it is carpeted and has a bath with both a shower-hose and also another separate shower at the end of the bath.

Like all the rooms upstairs in the Coach House, it looks out onto the Castle.

Close to the Castle, the Coach House is separated by a yard and parking area.

The Coach House has ample lawn front and back for the kids to play (contrasting the lush green against the red and grey!).

View of Castle

This pic shows the proximity and amazing view of the Castle from all rooms in the Coach House!

Irish Pub

This “Bring-Your-Own” bar is equipped with bar counter, high-stools and open fire-place, and is where the craic happens! You can have beer kegs and taps brought in, and enjoy the atmosphere of your own Irish pub on site.
