The Castle Tower & Layout
Bedroom 1
This bedroom is on first level (above ground floor) so it is the closest bedroom to ground level, and sleeps 2
It is accessed by ‘normal’ stairs, and the amazing spiral stone staircase begins just beyond it
It is located between the Dining Room on ground level and the shower-room/wc a little up the spiral staircase
- King size antique 4-poster bed (dressed)
- Electric blanket (dual control)
- Window overlooks walled-in field and forestry
Bedroom 2
This Family bedroom is on the second level (two floors above the ground level), and sleeps 4. It is located between the shower-room/wc just below, and the bathroom just above
- Double bed and bunks (all dressed)
- Electric blanket on large/double bed
- Deep window-cushioned alcove
- Window overlooking field walled-in field and forestry
Dining Room
Located on the ground floor and beside the kitchen, the lawn leads directly into the Dining Room & Kitchen. It has seated up to 25, and is equally popular for ceremonies as larger groups can spill out onto the lawn.
Kitchen
With beautifully aged oak cabinets and beamed ceiling, the kitchen suits self catering, chefs and catered events alike. All modern appliances are discretely integrated, and it has all the utensils you could need.
Shower Room
This separate Shower-room is on the return between the first and second floors (conveniently positioned between the first and second bedrooms). It has a large shower cubicle with WC and sink.
Bedroom 3
Bedroom 3 is on the fourth level (3 levels above ground level) & sleeps 2.
It is located above the Great Room and just below the top/penthouse bedroom
- King size antique 4-poster bed (dressed)
- Electric blanket (dual control).
- Small cosy bedroom.
- Two windows, one overlooking the riding school next door and the other overlooking the field with the pet ponies
Bedroom 4
This bedroom is at the very top of the castle (fifth floor)!
- It sleeps 2 in the Super-King antique 4-poster bed (dressed), and can easily sleep more with futons or baby cribs, etc.
- Electric blanket (dual control).
- Very large bedroom with magnificent oak beamed ceilings.
The Great Room
Ascend and descend from your bedrooms to meet up in the Great Room right in the centre of the castle tower, with panoramic views over the countryside to the north, south, east and west.
Stone Bathroom
Right beside the Great Room, the bath tub also has a wall shower hose and is the third lavatory in the Castle.
Stairway & Corridors
The life-blood of the castle! All rooms in the castle are accessed directly off this architecturally brilliant self-supporting spiral stone staircase.
Dungeon
Could you escape from here? Doubtful indeed. When you are here with us we look forward to explaining why all dungeons are not in the basement!
As Night Falls
We are at the end of a private driveway, so no one will be ‘passing by’ to interfere with your peace and tranquility.
